Music Cruises

In 2009 we went on Shiprocked which was the very first rock cruise of its kind. The cruise was wild. Only half of the ship was there for the bands and the rest well lets just say their jaws dropped. The ship ran out of alcohol the first night and had to restock in Jamaica the next day. It was a total blast.

This version of Shiprocked was interesting. We had committed to it as Queensryche was supposed to be on it but it ended up actually only being Geoff Tate. We couldn’t get out of it so we went. It actually turned out to be a lot of fun as most of the bands we had never seen. This was the last Shiprocked cruise we attended.

This was our first Monsters of Rock Cruise. It was a total blast. One let down though due to unforeseen circumstances Arcade backed out and they were definitely one of the bands we wanted to see. Queensryche was on this one too but not on this poster.

Axes and Anchors cruise only did 1 cruise. It sure was fun. I designed the majority of all the advertisements for the bands and then worked with the bands on board. The only downside was the Monsters of Rock cruise was at the same time and had Kingdom Come which was Lenny’s last American show with the band. I did get 2 ads published in guitar magazines which was awesome. All and all the cruise was a blast and a really cool concept. Also Michael Schenker had to pull out due to the loss of David Van Landing (RIP).

MORC 2022. Well this one was right after COVID and man we wanted to see some shows! So glad we decided to go on the cruise. Alice Cooper played 2 awesome shows, so cool seeing him in that size venue. He also did an awesome town hall with Eddie Trunk and told all sorts of stories. Saw so many of our awesome friends. Such a blast!
